568-118 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80118 is an AS568-118 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.862 in (21.89 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.068 in (27.13 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
