568-121 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80121 is an AS568-121 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.049 in (26.64 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.255 in (31.88 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The compound resists steam, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, food and beverage, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
