568-124 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80124, this is an AS568-124 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.237 in (31.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.443 in (36.65 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The compound resists aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
