568-128 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80128 is an AS568-128 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.487 in (37.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.693 in (43 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The compound resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
