568-129 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORIN

Part number TEV80129 is an AS568-129 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.549 in (39.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.755 in (44.58 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The compound resists steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
