The TEV80134 is an AS568-134 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.862 in (47.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.068 in (52.53 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against steam, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
