568-148 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80148 is an AS568-148 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
