568-150 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80150, this is an AS568-150 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
