568-155 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-155 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.987 in (101.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.193 in (106.5 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80155. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
