*568-157 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80157 is an AS568-157 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. It resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in food and beverage, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
