568-162 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80162, an AS568-162 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
