568-163 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORIN

APG stocks the TEV80163, an AS568-163 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.987 in (152.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.193 in (157.3 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical processing.

Stocked as TEV80163 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 6 inch. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
