*568-164 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80164, an AS568-164 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
