568-165 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80165, an AS568-165 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
