TEV80167 is an AS568-167 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.987 in (177.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.193 in (182.7 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
