568-168 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80168 is an AS568-168 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.237 in (183.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.443 in (189.05 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
