568-169 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80169 is an AS568-169 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
