568-173 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80173 is an AS568-173 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.487 in (215.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.693 in (220.8 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
