*568-176 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-176 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 9.237 in (234.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.443 in (239.85 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80176. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. It resists strong acids and solvents, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
