Part number TEV80211 is an AS568-211 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.796 in (20.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.074 in (27.28 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
