568-215 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80215, this is an AS568-215 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.046 in (26.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.324 in (33.63 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in food and beverage, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and chemical processing.
