APG stocks the TEV80216, an AS568-216 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.
Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
