568-222 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-222 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.484 in (37.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.762 in (44.75 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80222. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
