568-225 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-225 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.859 in (47.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.137 in (54.28 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80225. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, food and beverage, and chemical processing.
