568-228 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80228, an AS568-228 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.234 in (56.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.512 in (63.8 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical processing.

TEV80228 ships individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 2 1/4 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
