568-230 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80230, this is an AS568-230 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.484 in (63.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.762 in (70.15 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists aggressive oxidizers, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

Typical settings include chemical processing, food and beverage, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
