568-232 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80232 is an AS568-232 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
