568-235 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80235 is an AS568-235 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.109 in (78.97 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.387 in (86.03 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
