TEV80240 is an AS568-240 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.734 in (94.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.012 in (101.9 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. The compound resists aggressive oxidizers, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical processing.
