568-241 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-241 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.859 in (98.02 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.137 in (105.08 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80241. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.
