568-248 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80248 is an AS568-248 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, food and beverage, and chemical processing.
