568-258 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80258, an AS568-258 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.
