568-261 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-261 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 6.734 in (171.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.012 in (178.1 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80261. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
