568-262 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80262 is an AS568-262 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.984 in (177.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.262 in (184.45 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
