568-266 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80266, an AS568-266 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.984 in (202.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.262 in (209.85 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The compound resists strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical processing.
