568-268 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80268 is an AS568-268 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.484 in (215.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.762 in (222.55 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
