The TEV80271 is an AS568-271 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.234 in (234.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.512 in (241.6 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
