568-272 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80272 is an AS568-272 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.484 in (240.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.762 in (247.95 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against steam, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
