Ordered as TEV80273, this is an AS568-273 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.734 in (247.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.012 in (254.3 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
