568-284 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80284, this is an AS568-284 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.233 in (463.12 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. It resists strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
