568-322 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80322 is an AS568-322 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.225 in (31.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.645 in (41.78 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
