This o-ring is supplied in AS568-323 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.287 in (32.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.707 in (43.36 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80323. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Expect good resistance to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aggressive-media valves and pumps, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
