568-327 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80327, an AS568-327 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.145 in (54.48 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
