568-329 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80329 is an AS568-329 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.395 in (60.83 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
