568-335 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80335, an AS568-335 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.725 in (69.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.145 in (79.88 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
