568-336 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80336 is an AS568-336 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.27 in (83.06 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
