TEV80339 is an AS568-339 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.645 in (92.58 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. Expect good resistance to steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
