568-345 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80345 is an AS568-345 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.975 in (100.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.395 in (111.63 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
