568-348 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80348 is an AS568-348 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.77 in (121.16 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.
