568-350 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80350 is an AS568-350 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.02 in (127.51 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. It resists aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Common environments for this compound include food and beverage, semiconductor equipment, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
